In 2012, JJMAS became a key implementing partner of the Targeted Intervention (TI) Program under the funding of the Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society (KSAPS) and National AIDS Control organization (NACO). This program aimed to prevent HIV/AIDS transmission among sex workers and HRGs in Kalaburagi. Over the last decade, JJMAS has built extensive expertise in addressing health and social challenges through this program, which operates in 10 taluks of Kalaburagi district.

Through the TI program, the organization has achieved significant milestones:

• Increased condom use among WSWs with clients and other sexual partners.
• Reduced the incidence of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) in the target population.
• Created an enabling environment to reduce vulnerabilities through stakeholder sensitization, community organization, and effective linkages.
